Philip’s Last Final

This semester has been somewhat stressful since it was my last one and finals did nothing to help the matter. I had a serious case of senioritis and was wondering if I would  be able to put enough effort into my work to graduate. Once I took my last final Friday morning and passed, we decided to celebrate and have some great family-time. Where better to celebrate than the beach? Zoe’s first experience with sand and the beach! Although the temperature was perfect and the sky was beautiful, the wind was overpowering and throwing sand everywhere. We put up with it for a while but then Zoe started to get upset. Sand was getting caught in her fat rolls. That would upset me too if I had any. This was also Po’s first time at the beach or even around water. At first, he was very scared and couldn’t even be dragged near the water but a good game of fetch quickly relaxed him and got him used to the new surroundings. When his ball went into the water I had to toss him in after it because he was still a bit skeptical but afterwards he began having a lot of fun with it. He didn’t seem to mind the wind at all. After leaving the beach, we decided to see what the Sarver’s were up to. We spent a lot of time enjoying the  beautiful weather outside in the back lawn playing. Zoe loves every opportunity she gets to see her cousins.

Zoe’s first time standing in lake water. At first she didn’t know what to think but then she started to enjoy it. Poe was also intrigued by this. He had already had his first time when I threw him in after the ball a few minutes before.
