Philip's Birthday!

When Ilise asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I first said "nothing." She would not allow that so I decided that I wanted her to cook me dinner. Every other day of the year I cook for her except Easter, when we work together to make lasagna. At first she said no. Once she did finally say yes, she stressed about it for a good part of the next week trying to come up with what to cook and how to cook it. Ilise came up with a great meal. The main course was broccoli chicken alfredo and she made stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. I can honestly say that the mushrooms were better than any I've ever had before, including any restaurant I've ever been to. The mushrooms can be seen in the picture above.

I'm not really sure what is going on here. Charlie and Meimei being weird I guess.

Me posing in front of my cake. Ilise was planning on baking me a cake until she got a call from Dave. He asked her if he should bring an ice cream cake so she deferred the question to me. I did not verbally respond; instead, I got a big smile on my face. The last time I had ice cream cake was years ago. Ilise took the smile for a yes and that is why there is a beautiful ice cream cake in the picture above. Dave had to light the 24 candles very quickly so it didn't melt the ice cream.

One of many photos where Ilise and I were goofing around. I'm not sure why she chose to put the one up that I look the dumbest in.

Despite me telling Ilise not to get me anything, she still bought me a tie. I love this tie though. The detail on it is awesome close up. It doesn't go well with my monkey shirt in the picture above though.

Even though nobody was suppose to bring gifts, Dave decided to buy me a game anyway. It turned out to be an awesome game and I think we spent about 11 hours total on it over my birthday weekend. Great party game. Thank you everyone for all of your birthday wishes.
