We have lived in Indy for a year now and had not even seen the zoo so we finally made it a point to visit. We were not disappointed. As soon as we arrived, we learned that the dolphin show would start in 10 minutes so we made our way there. We all loved it, especially Zoe who struggled the whole time to get a closer look.
Here are 2 of the 7 dolphins in the show. They put on a great performance.
The tigers were the main reason we wanted to go to the zoo. It is our favorite animal, especially Zoe, so we couldn’t miss an opportunity to finally show her a real one. She was ecstatic. I won’t go into detail but there was a lot of happy screaming.
The tiger made its rounds several times passing right in front of the window inches from where we were standing so we all got a great view.
After making its rounds, it decided to rest on the other side of its territory shown here. Luckily Ilise’s lens allowed her to zoom in far enough to still take pictures.
Feeding crackers to the ducks. They were very brave and hungry.
Time for a drink.
