Em and co. decided to visit for the weekend to hang with family and celebrate Kyle’s birthday. Although it rained most of the afternoon, we headed to the beach. It was great fun, some of the kids even went in the water!

Auntie Em and Zoekins
Po had so much fun with all the kids. He always had someone to play fetch with him.
Seth and Hayden were not afraid to get wet.
Zoe discovering that the sand is not very tasty, she, of course, tried it more than once and had the same reaction both times: yuck!
Kaitlin tried to avoid getting her picture taken insisting her beauty would break the camera. Luckily, I got some pictures of her and her beauty spared my little Canon.
After the beach we headed to the Sarver’s to beat a ghost and eat a cake.
Nate took a video of the piñata beating. I love taking pictures but hate getting my picture taken, I think many passionate photographers my face this same dilemma. “I can take your picture but you can not take mine.” :/
In my family, we go in order youngest to oldest for hitting the piñata. To give you an idea of how tough this ghosts was here is Seth, the oldest of all the nieces and nephews. He gave the ghosts a nice slice in the side but did not take him down.
The original Sarver’s, as Steph so kindly put it for Philip, got to give it a shot after the kids could not do it. After Steph and I weakened the ghosts, :P Jer lands the destructive blow.
Happy Birthday Kyle!
Sunday we went to the Valpo Stake Conference. After a great session, we headed to Jer and Stef’s for lunch.
Heather kept dodging my pictures as well. What is with the nieces?
Jer kept us all entertained with stories from his time in Officers Training.
Ammon sneaking a sip of Zoe’s water.
Dallin and Aaron being game junkies.
Zoe just could not get enough of Hayden. She was giggling the whole afternoon.
