Independence Day Weekend

On Friday we went to Brown County State Park to visit some of my family and friends at the campground. The weather was beautiful and so was the scenery. We also had a new family first. That day was the first time Ilise and I have had a “date” without Zoe. My mom volunteered to watch her while we went into the tourist town of Nashville, IN. It was a lot of fun to see the various shops and what they had to offer. We bought some tiger stuff for Zoe and had an artist draw a picture of us using chalk.

Zoe just loves this game. Every time Ilise and I try to play she tries to get the cards. It didn’t used to be a problem because she couldn’t move very far or fast but now that she is close to crawling it is getting more difficult to keep them away.

Sarah and Craig invited us over for fireworks at their place on the fourth. It was a lot of fun to be able to watch them from their driveway. The only downside was the amount of insects outside. We saw a couple bats but that wasn’t enough :)
