Ilise and I carved our pumpkins last week, which were previously posted, but we originally bought three and felt the final one needed carving too. Carving a pumpkin together, at the same time, is a difficult task without getting in each others' way. Our decision for the final pumpkin was inspired by the fact that our family will increase in size from 2 to 3 soon and we felt that Zoe deserved a pumpkin as well. The idea stemmed from the fact that during Ilise's early pregnancy we referred to Zoe as Peanut because we did not know the sex. The name stuck and I think we will always remember Zoe as Peanut. Once again, Ilise gets all the credit for drawing the wonderful picture. We each carved half and then I touched up all of the areas to make sure the light would shine through correctly. We were very happy with the end result after being very skeptical with the idea in the beginning.
Here is Zoe and her freshly carved pumpkin. Almost the same size.....

That's awesome! :)
This is possibly one of the best carvings I've seen this year. Kudos.
