Peanut

Here is our baby Peanut. That is the name we gave it until we know the sex. Ilise's mom was able to help us out with this unofficial surprise ultrasound since we were already up in Valpo intending to go to the beach. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the beach because Ilise didn't feel the greatest and the temperature outside was twenty degrees colder by the lake. We were both very happy to be able to get the ultrasound though and to be able to see its little heart beating. Ilise was also very happy to know that she doesn't have to worry about twins. We also got to see it show off for us by jumping, almost mimicking a jumping jack.

I'm really missing Ilise at church. She has really wanted to go but having constant nausea and some occassional vomitting does not make it easy. We have been short-staffed so to speak in the nursery and it has been very rough on all of us there. Hopefully we will get a few more helpers called soon. Ilise was happy to know that she will still be able to continue working in the nursery every other week. We were also able to get some cleaning done :)
