Prophets Town Photos

Here are some photos from Prophetstown State Park. We got the suggestion to go here from Steven Dobbins who loves photography like we do. Although I was still drugged up from after my surgery, I jumped on the opportunity to take some beautiful photos. Actually, my shoulder was all wrapped up and in a sling so I merely pointed out places I thought would be good for a photo and Ilise did all of the picture taking. I can't wait for the day when I can get her a nice camera. Anyway, enjoy these shots of scenery and animals.

Ilise loves object shots. I was a little confused at first when she stopped in the middle of the road for no apparent reason to me; however, after looking at the shot it seems it was a well justified stop.

We took these shots because 1. the view reminded of something I see in puzzles 2. I grew up in the country and have always enjoyed the scenery.

Us petting the animals

Hehe.... sucks to be you

After we finished petting the animals, we went back to the car and found we had a third passenger. No matter how many times we tossed this cat off of our car, it kept coming back. We finally had to start the car and begin driving for it to get the hint. It was a very nice cat though.

Very social sheep

Tehe...you people must have catnip running through your veins. : )

Jerry hates cats, I can't figure out why. Bad childhood memories, he claims.

The girls love them and with big eyes will beg for a kitty and it takes Jer all of a millisecond to shoot down that childhood dream for them. Little girl tears cannot penetrate his anti-kitty defense system.

As always...great photo taking skills! See you soon!
